You know how sometimes you want to post a picture, but it doesn’t fit into your feed? Or you’re trying to get everything to look pretty together, but it’s HARD because you can’t plan in advance? Well, actually… YOU CAN.
There are multiple apps out there that allow you to plan your feed in advance, but I personally prefer Preview as it works great and the people behind it are just lovely. They give so many tips and tricks on their Instagram account and they constantly give shout outs. Also: Preview is free! There is a paid version, but you can really work with the free version. Just to be clear: this is not a sponsored post or anything like that. I just love Preview and want to share it with others
So what can you do with Preview?
📷 Plan your entire feed in advance! You can post as many pictures as you like. This way you can see which pictures look good together and you won’t have to worry about having nothing to post.
📷 Plan your captions in advance! I don’t know about you, but some days I just have NO inspiration for a good caption, especially when I’m tired. I used to just not post since I couldn’t come up with a caption, but now I can just write them in advance (you can also save your hashtags in groups but since I don’t do that I can’t really say how it works)
📷 Schedule your posts! They won’t be posted automatically unless you have a business account on Insta (and even then there are some cons so you should look into that!) but Preview gives you a reminder to post and honestly it has worked wonders for me as I have terrible memory haha
📷 Edit your photos! Though most filter packs cost money, you can still do quite a lot in the app
📷 Keep track of your stats! Though you can only see some basic stats for the past seven days if you have the free version, it’s still interesting and useful
Honestly I’m so happy that I found Preview, since I really wasn’t happy with the way my feed looked like before but I didn’t really know how to get the aesthetic feed I wanted. I’d recommend it in a heartbeat.
Do you use an app like Preview? Do you like to plan ahead, or are you more of a spontaneous poster? Let me know in the comments!
